Our Reviews

4 days of hiking, learning about and meeting the Wiwa and Kogui communities, finding and exploring the “lost” city, lots of swimming, good food, good people, and some adorable animals 🥰 Thank you for the great tour @wiwawalker

Hola a todos even een dikke aanrader en shout-out naar Wiwa Walker! Mega toffe ervaring! See for yourself!

I did the Lost City Trek in 4 days with WIWAWALKER and it was an amazing experience! I had the best group and the best guides. Andres, Arghenith, and Estiven did everything they could do to make sure that we have a good time. Would highly recommend it.

I recently did the Lost City Trek with WIWAWALKERS and it was the best thing I’ve done in Colombia! I had an amazing group and the Guide, Translator, and Chef (Arghenith, Andres, and Estiben) were all awesome! Cannot recommend them enough!

if someone should be thinking about doing the tour to the Lost City in Santa Marta: We did it with Wiwa Walker and loved the experience. We were only 5 people and by this could see most of the special places before anyone else had arrived. Thanks to our cook Danilo, the food was delicious, and our two guides, Ingrid and Andres, made the whole experience so much better!

We loved their historical insights, special surprises, and cheerful mood.

So highly recommend doing this tour with them!

We had an amazing experience at the Lost City with Wiwa Walker and we definitely would like to recommend it!

We were a small group of 4 tourists. All the other groups were a minimum of 8 people and up to 14, so we were really lucky.

With us: Diego, our guide, and Flaminio, our translator in English. They were both incredibly nice and really good at their job!

Diego told us plenty of stories about the Kogis and the Sierra Nevada while walking, and Flaminio translated them perfectly!

They tried to avoid the sun when possible so we do not suffer from the heat. We could also walk at our own pace, it was perfect. And, we were the first group to step on the Lost City site, which was amazing!

We had good laughs all together, and the food provided by our cook Elkin was delicious.

Don’t hesitate if you have any questions, we would be happy to help!

Hope you enjoy it too!!

Would recommend 100%! We did the special tour and it was the best. We were in a private group and got the chance to ask so many questions and do everything at our own pace. Which is great because sometimes you just want a longer or shorter break. You also walk separately from other big groups, so you can hear all the nature sounds. And the time you’ll get alone on this tour in the lost city is of course amazing. We enjoyed this. They are also super caring and helpful. Other guides were sometimes shouting to get their groups motivated for the walk like they were at a school camp while our guide at Wiwawaker was super chill and calm. I was so happy about that haha. From what I’ve seen during the hike, out guide stood out. Thanks again, wiwawalker!

My family with kids just returned from the Lost City Trek and it was an awesome experience! We are very well guided by Abraham Molina of Wiwa Walker He speaks perfect English and knows a lot about this area, Colombia in general, and the indigenous people, Luis (a local guide) has roots in the area and Suleima is a cook. Wiwa Walker had permission to sleep with us (any group) in the Lost City, which was of course very special. We had the evening, night, and morning to walk around there.

We ate well, slept well, and had all weather conditions. It's not a walk in the park, but a huge adventurous and educational trek to do as seen. We will never forget this again! I would advise everyone and certainly families to do this trek with Wiwa Walker.

@Judith Nusselder

Hola, I don't usually make recommendations but here I have to! Just went through Wiwa Walker for the Ciudad Perdida trek and it was just insane! If you are looking for a serious agency: small group only! We are far from the factory of other big agencies. Luis (our guide), Abraham (translator with great English), and Zuleyma (our cook) have been amazing (kind, competent, arranger, kind, patient... They did their best to make sure we ran into as little a group as possible on the march! In short, get dark! The trek is difficult but very beautiful.

@Julie Simian

If somebody plans to do the Lost City Trek in Colombia, I can recommend this amazing experience. I went on a 4-Day-Hike, without big expectations, but it was just insane. We went through spectacular nature, ate very good food, met indigenous and had a really good time. Luckily I got booked via hostel to go with the best of the 8 organisations. WiwaWalker can make the most out of your trip! Why? They take a maximum of 8 people which is a perfect size of a group, they can bring you to places the big groups can not go. They are locals and very experienced, you can ask them everything and they will always have an answer. And they are super nice, organized, and fun. Wiwawalker will pick you up from your place to stay and will bring you back. If you want to walk with the best of the best, go with WiwaWalker!
